About this guide
This is an unofficial guide site for Harpoon a Fish, the Roblox spearfishing game from the group FirstTry. It exists because the game has no official wiki, and because the questions players actually ask - how deep can I go, who keeps a stolen fish, which pass is worth 249 Robux - had no single place to answer them.
Who writes this
One editor, playing the game and reading the developer's own pages. There is no community submission queue and no automated scraper posting other people's text.
Where the facts come from
Every number on this site traces back to one of four places:
- The game's own Roblox page - the description field, where the developer publishes the live code and the core loop.
- Roblox's public game APIs - the badge list, the game pass list with prices, and the visit, favourite and update figures quoted on the pages.
- Screenshots and footage from the current build - the HUD readouts, crate screens, crafting boards and menu layouts that the game itself shows on screen.
- The developer's group page, for who runs the game.
Where a claim comes from a player rather than the game - a crate drop someone pulled on stream, for example - the page says so in the sentence.
What this site does not do
- It does not publish a code that the game's own page does not carry.
- It does not list an item, a price or a badge that cannot be checked in the game today.
- It does not use any game account, and it never asks for yours.
Money
This site is funded by display advertising. Nothing on it is sponsored, no game developer pays for placement, and the advertising has no relationship to what the pages recommend.
Corrections
If something here is wrong, send it to the address on the contact page. Corrections with a screenshot from the current build get fixed first. Game imagery on this site is the developer's own promotional material and in-game footage, used for reference, and every trademark belongs to its owner.
